Make sure your skin is well prepped, and you are hydrated! In the days leading up to your appointment, make sure you are exfoliating with a salt scrub and moisturizing with a fragrance-free moisturizer. Yes, even on your naughty bits!
On the day of, make sure to avoid caffeine prior to your service, as caffeine increases circulation under the skin, causing more pain and redness. Drink water prior to your appointment. Make sure to moisturize, but skip the scrubbing.
Additionally you may purchase and apply numbing lotion or cream to intimate areas.
Ibuprofen is recommended at least 15 minutes before your appointment.

Kelsie will make sure that you are as comfortable as possible during your session. Make sure to breathe, slowly, if you are experiencing pain. Remember that pain is normal during a wax session, but staying calm will help you get through it! If you need a break, or to adjust your body positioning, just say so!

Redness and irritation is normal after a wax. This is a common occurrence of a histamine reaction. Your skin should calm down within 24-48 hours.
Make sure to avoid hot showers and baths, swimming pools and jacuzzies, gym and strenuous exercise, tight clothing, and sexual intercourse. Sure, you can shower after a wax, but make sure your water isn’t molten hot!
Remember, bacteria and dead skin build up creates ingrown hairs! It’s very important for you to continue a regular exfoliation routine, and keep up with waxing in order to get the best wax every time.
